Cryptocurrencies Make Minimalism More Viable

in #life7 years ago (edited)

So you want to become a minimalist? You want to eliminate 95% of your stuff, leave the stressful big city, and go find a tiny house in the middle of nowhere? Working remotely and selling your products and services to people all over the world is a great way to make a living, right?

It is. But until now, receiving and sending money abroad was a real pain in the neck. If it's easy, it's expensive. If it's cheap, it's risky.

Enter cryptocurrencies.

The digitization of things (almost all things) is making minimalism easier. And now, with the rise of cryptos, it's even easier. Screw the big banks, the remittances companies, and all the regulation around sending/receiving money to/from people/companies based overseas.

Sure, you need to know what you are doing. And you need to make sure that you comply with your local regulations and pay your taxes. But it's hard to argue about the many benefits of cryptocurrencies (valuable, portable, divisible, cheap and instant transactions, etc.)

If you want to become a minimalist, cryptos are your friend.house-1934423_640.jpg
