aceh traditional market at the time of welcoming holy month of ramadhan

hello everyone...

this is the situation this afternoon in aceh in one of the traditional markets I visited with friends ie @curiesea, @marconah. so people are here again busy buying meat in the market. and this kind of activity is rarely seen normally in one year only twice held by the Muslim community in the world to welcome the holy month of Ramadhan.

so the community here has a unique tradition called (makmeugang) or buy meat, ie of beef, Buffalo, or goat at the time welcome Holy month of Ramadan or feast of Eid, and Eid-Adha. and the flesh then cooked to be eaten with friends or relatives. although this is not an obligation, it has become habits for the Aceh and other Muslims. tradition is usually done one or two times in one year. this tradition has lasted hereditary since hundreds of years ago, since the Kingdom of Aceh led by the Sultan Iskandar young at that time. and it also there tradition (makmeugang ubeut) that is meugang the first day of which only do in some places in Aceh, and as for the meugang public held a day ahead of fasting around the area in Aceh. don't be surprised if you go to Aceh current day meugang almost all over Aceh from the village of up to the city Center around the Aceh. this emerging thousands of traders beef and Buffalo, no exception in Aceh. on the day (meugang) although many cut the cow or Buffalo, usually all flesh sold out. because all the people in droves buy meat good meat ox and Buffalo meat. because there assumption in Aceh if we do not buy meat on the day welcome Holy month of Ramadan or at the time welcome feast then we will feel humiliated according to view of people around.
