How to maintain your flying carpet!

in #life7 years ago

Those of you who are the lucky owners of a flying carpet can now look forward for some tips on the maintenance of this useful thing.

Tip#1 - free your flying carpet from dirt

Dirt on your flying carpet does not only look shabby, it is also extra weight that has a negative effect on the flying ability of your magic carpet. So try to clean it up regularly!

Tip#2 - aerate your carpet

To improve your flying carpet´s aerodynamics you should penetrate it on it´s whole surface with a needle. Perhaps this may be first against your intuition but the little holes you add to your carpet enhance the air circulation and make it less sensitive to strong winds. This will make your carpet flow way smoother through the air.

Tip#3 - store your carpet right

The wrong storage of your flying carpet can affect it´s flying ability drastic. Avoid the storage in moist or wet places, for example your cellar, cause the humidity adds extra weight to your carpet and makes him heavyer and fly less dynamic.

Tip#4 - unknot your flying carpet´s fringes

Your carpet´s fringes are the magical conductors of your carpet and lead the magic energy directly to the air around it to magify the air and make your carpet levitate. Therefore it is of utmost importance to keep the fringes unknottet and to remove knots with a comb. Just be careful so that you do not damage the fringes!

Tip#5 - talk to your carpet

It may seem strange to you to talk to your flying carpet but you might already know about the benefits of conversation with plants. It makes them grow faster and keeps them healthier. With your flying carpet it is quite the same thing because talking to your flying carpet on a regular basis is known for affecting the flying ability of your carpet positive and even enhances it´s performance! It does not matter so much on the content but much more on the pitch of what you say. Talk kind to your carpet and you will be rewarded for it!

Have a nice flight!
