You lead the way, they follow!

Being a good leader, means leading the way… from behind the scenes! A good leader sets a good example to follow.

 

Why things don’t get done:

People procrastinate when they don’t know what they’re supposed to do. 

  • But once they are shown how to do it, they happily do what is required of them. 
  • And after they have done it for some time, they begin to see ways they can shorten the system and then find even better ways to do it. 

All it took was for someone, an employer or supervisor, to show them what was required of them. 

We should never complain:

  • If someone is slow or isn’t` pulling their weight’, maybe he or she doesn’t know or isn’t sure, how you would like it done, and too scared to ask for help. 
  • Consider what or who is holding him up. Given a little help, that person could advance beyond anyone’s expectations. 
  • People are nervous and unhappy when the job is complicated and perplexing.  
  • On the other hand, people are happy in their jobs, when they love what they do. They feel in command of their situation and position.  
  • So satisfied employees make for a successful business. 

This can occur in many other spheres of life too… consider: 

Websites that trend:

They’re `leading the pack’… out there in front `doing their thing’. They are leaders that show the way as to how it’s done.

  • They supply a topic and promote a suggestion that gets you thinking.. 
  • They enthusiastically encourage us to try it out for ourselves. 
  • They use light-hearted jargon to make their blogs fun. 
  • They do way-out things to catch your attention. And then lead you on, creating a fascinating path to follow. 
  • They supply stories that we can relate to. Those situations been close to the heart are easier to understand and follow. 
  • Write about the adventures they had, using action and descriptive words that draw us into the situation or event. 
  • They lead the way by giving examples of how they did it. If they can do it, we feel we can also do it! 
  • They even describe the mistakes they made, that they personally learnt from. This gives us hope that we can also achieve things in spite of our own mistakes. 
  • They describe how to do things. Give conclusive advice and tips that anyone can follow
  • Supply techniques and pictures, step by step, simple explanations that are so easy to follow and really fun to do. 
  • They give demonstrations of how to do it. Giving us simple uncomplicated diagrams or videos to watch. 
  • They give other alternatives and sources for you to follow or link to.
  • They generously supply benefits. Often linked to some sort of action, that can be taken, if the person so desires. 

Note: They may not use all these things in one blog. But they use some of these things in the process of writing up their blogs.

For me, in sum, it comes down to someone devoted to a noble cause or vision--greater than him or herself--who pursues it with such faith that it inspires others to act to see that vision realized.

Got it, I do think profits aside, keeping employees encouraged is one of the greatest things for a successful business.
Another one of the being a leader who leads from behind the scenes is a nice one.
Trying to do this gives motivation to even the weakest. People always want to feel like they are so appreciated.

Leaders are someone who are born with enigmatic persona, people can be be very successful but cant be great and honest leaders..Leader always has a human connect, he wants all his following to have the same success as he wants for himself..Leadership is a drawn upbeat character of soul...they feel every misery and happiness with you

Yes some people are born leaders. But if you look at their background, they were inspired by someone who boosted they ego. But some of us are just plain stubborn, we get there sometimes by sheer guts.

you're right,,!! they don't do because they don't know what to do.
Therefore we recommend that leaders take steps to make them know.
every human being has the advantages of each, and certainly with the experience and knowledge they will be more useful for us.

I believe in someone to be a good good leader on e mst set goal and make sure they rch their goals. That is why have set a goal of make at list 100 sbds per week and I mst find a way of rching my goal. I know am going to get it by promoting steem it and looking for supporties of my promotions

We may have goals that we aim at and list prepared. But for those working alongside us, they need to catch the vision as well, before they're inspired.

After reading about leaders that shows the exceptional quality listed above some names on Steemit just keep ringing in my head, I want to be like this too one day and all this quality read to my name.

On why people procrastinate, I might want to disagree a little by saying though some procrastinate due not been led by a leader but some are actually lazy and will never lift a pin despite been shown the way.

The person who doesn't lift a finger or a pin, is someone who doesn't like his or her job.
Then again there are people who want the pay, but don't want to work for it!
They think, "Why should I work, when someone else can do it for me!"

Yes, that's true everyone is not same but everyone is unique means one person's expertise is different from other and if you are an manager then you have to assign them a project which suits them because when a person get a work of his/her interests then the results will be productive for sure and never complain and judge about anybody because everyone have their strengths and weaknesses and it's really important for an leader to create an environment where everyone will feel comfort. I like what you say. When employing people or setting out o get a partner, they must have the skills to fill the position. But if a person is actually using his talent or hobby, in that position, he or she loves coming to work. And getting paid to `play their game' in the bargain!

This is such an informative post. Your words are full of wisdom and I learn so much from your experience. you are absolutely right, I guess leadership is not about a title but about impact, influence and inspiration. Impact involves getting results, influence is about spreading the passion to do what you have to do, and you have to inspire team-mates and customers.
Supervision is necessary, after a little help anyone can become a master in his respective field, all people nee is a little push.
And it's great to have as a job what you like to do. You can achieve anything if you do what u love to do. Anyways such a nice post. Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
