BUSINESS HITS: Improved Economic Climate in Q1-2018

JAKARTA - The world's economic climate has grown substantially in the first quarter of this year, German Economic Research Institute Ifo reported on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.

President Ifo, Clemens Fuest said experts assess the current economic situation is much more positive than the last quarter. Their economic expectations also showed remarkable improvement.

In addition, the experts surveyed also predicted that short-term and long-term interest rates would increase in the next six months, and that world trade would increase significantly.
