Would You Consider Me As Pet?

Sometimes referred to as calico snake. This reptile is really a tiny snake, but it adult can grow as long as 91cm in length, including 27cm tail.

It has various colours, but it usual combination is red and black rings or crossbands. It has smooth dorsal scales.

This specie of snake has rear fang, that is, prey must be moved deeper in it mouth before it can attack with venom. Its venom is too weak to harm human, but it is extremely toxic to lizards.

It feeds on frog, lizards, small rodents and birds.

It is a beautiful small snake, would you consider it as pet?
