Kutubdia on the seashore
Kutubdia on the seashore
North, west and south-three sides of the Bay of Bengal and Kutubdia Channel before. In the middle of the island, about 215 square kilometers of an island lying on the seashore - Kutubdia
Kutubdia in Cox's Bazar district. Here you can see, the only Wind Mills in Bangladesh. The wind is made from electricity. I could not cope with the temptation to see the place. So, I sat in Dhaka-Cox's Bazar bus.
I came in Chakaria. The road from the market is towards the Magnum Ghat. In the 30-minute CNG auto-rickshaw went to the Ghat. Magnama Ghat is seen from the far kutubdia. There are also engine boats and speedboats for a short time to go from the ghat to the island. It took me 30 minutes to go boroghop ghat by passing the engine boat, Kutubdia channel.
Transportation is good. The road is ripe. There are battery rickshaws, tempo and even four-wheelers for movement. There are also all types of shops. Water is a bit saltier here. “Samudra Bilash” is one of the best hotels in the market. The Sea at its side. Rickshaws are available from Ghat to Rasri Hotel. There are several restaurant hotels in the market. At the end of lunch and after the rest, I went in the sea at the end.
Because of the lack of familiarity, I did not notice tourists except the local people. Excellent Jhaubon beside the atmosphere. In the heart of Jhaubon is very good. I went there for a while to windmill. The huge one-one fan is standing alongside the sea. Fan-mounted wings of many places like the English alphabet One part of it is standing beside the coast of the sea. The sunshine scene was great because the windmills were on the west.
There are also lighthouses in Kutubdia. The first lighthouse was built in British period. After first was drowned in the sea, another has been rebuilt. It looked like a mobile tower. It is seen from a distance- 'no public access is prohibited'. It is better to finish the rounding before the evening before the evening. Electricity is called solar and night generators during the daytime. The people of the area are surrounded by salt and Dried fish. Good dried fish is available here at low prices.
It was a great experience. You can go to see the beauty. If you do not wish to stay at night, you will have to reach the destination in the evening. The last trawler left for7pm in the evening. However, going to Kutubdia in the rough sea during storm-storm is a little risky. So, you can think to go there during the storm
