Wow. Bioni Samp! Amazing concept, really nice article. I make digital paintings and have a great affinity with bees (strange cuz my dad is allergic to them:) so that vibes well with electronic music and subtle bee harmonies. Definitely will check it out. Really cool.

Well done on the award!

This is awesome. I used to be a beekeeper myself. A lot of fun and a lot of work. My property was covered with about 40 acres of blackberries and it made the best honey I have ever tasted.

It is good to see people trying to spread awareness about bees. I have learned that most people either can't or don't bother to distinguish between a bee or a hornet or wasp. They just see stingy things. They don't know that aside from the stray asshole bee, that you can walk among them calmly and they will do nothing more than land on you.

So many times someone would call me because they were finding bees all over their property and I would come try to collect them. Sometimes sadly after doing a little looking around I find out they were coming from a property nearby where someone had poured diesel on the hive to get rid of them, and the survivors were simply moving on to find a new home.

Most people don't realize that if you have bees taking over your property that it is better for everyone if you call a beekeeper about collecting them instead of just killing them. With social media it has never been easier to reach out to a beekeeper.
