When you were a crying child, even a chocolate could do the trick for you. But now even the whole world comes, nothing can satisfy your hunger.

But if something is troubling you right now and you just want to divert your attention to be happy then this article is definitely going to bring a smile on your face within next 10 minutes before you reach to the end of it.

Here are the 10 quick hacks to be happy

Pat your pet

If you have a pet, then this is going to be one of the quickest ways to be happy. Just spend some time with your brother from another mother.

Your cat/dog/etc won’t let you down ever by being on the same vibration level of sadness as you are right now.

Your pet doesn’t keep any hard feelings for you. He won’t make you remember any wrong words/actions you used for him 2 days back. He just knows how to be happy in the present moment; that’s it. Learn from him.

It’s very rare that you see your pet being unhappy(unless he is not well). Let me know if you have seen any dog crying just because a bitch broke up with him(some Bollywood movies are exceptions though).

So, just go for it if you have the one. There is no need to read the further article and waste your precious time. Your pet is waiting for you.

Go in the sunlight

My personal mantra is to start my Laptop to watch any random episode of Friends. Even on watching all the episodes many times, it still cracks me up.

Call a friend

Grab your cell phone and call an old friend who is close to you but not in touch for a long time. You must have used your cell phone for all other purposes, this time try using it for the most basic purpose it was meant for i.e. to call someone.

Prepare your favorite dish

If you don’t have any idea what’s cooking into your life, then go into the kitchen and get an idea(I mean start cooking something). Believe me, it’s a great stress buster and you would start feeling good in no time.

I don’t know much about cooking but I often use the trick. I start preparing random things with random spices. Though, only I can eat what I prepare. Haha!

And yeah, don’t forget to put an icing on the cake by switching ON your favorite music on the radio along with it. La La La…

Start running

Can you go out right now and Run? If yes, then just do it. Run with a purpose, Run without a purpose. Run, Run, Run. Become a Forrest Gum.

Endorphins are released by your body when you are running which triggers a positive feeling in the body.

After 5-10 minutes of run, your body will start dropping all the negative emotions one by one. You will definitely feel a change compared to the way you were thinking earlier.

Fake it until you make it

Try this right now. Just do a fake laughter. Laugh out loud, if no one else is there to see and put you in the category of mad.

If someone else is sharing the room, then just go to the washroom and do the needful(I meant to have a fake laugh)

You know that you are just faking this. Your mind also knows it. But one innocent guy is also there who is unaware of the rules of the game. I am talking about your subconscious mind who is too innocent to distinguish between something real and fake.

I have been a victim of emotional dreams many times. But now I am aware that the actual culprit is my subconscious mind who weeps when my conscious mind sleeps.

Practice Gratitude

Look around wherever you are. Start appreciating whatever you see.

Even if you are in a dark room, where you can’t see anything, just close your eyes and start being grateful for all the body organs you have one by one.

If it feels something magical to you and the over smart mind of yours refuses to accept the rationality behind it then the internet is flooded with tons of supporting research on the subject as well.
