The Battle

Remaining at home is the proper activity,

it doesn't make it any simpler to do....

It doesn't cause the dread to leave...

It doesn't make the questions any simpler to confront...

It doesn't help control

the tension when we do need to wander outside

of our little air pockets to get nourishment or fundamentals...

Realizing the best activity

won't take care of our tabs

or keep a rooftop over our heads...

For this moment,

we are completely confronted with an unthinkable situation...

While we know remaining at home is the best activity,

it doesn't make it any simpler to do...

It doesn't cause the dread to leave...

It doesn't make the questions any simpler to confront...

It doesn't help control the tension

when we do need to wander outside...

Realizing the best activity

won't take care of our tabs

or keep a rooftop over our heads...

For the present moment,

we are totally confronted with an outlandish circumstance...
