RV Camping Fairfield Lake State Park, Texas | Scooter Tour! Fishing!

On our spring 2017 RV adventure we spent two nights and three days RV camping at Fairfield Lake State Park. This wonderful park is such a beautiful place to camp, fish and swim. We really enjoy visiting this stunning park! The campground is quite a ways away from anything as it is three miles from the front gate to the camping loops. While camping here we watched lots of the local wildlife, including deer, raccoons squirrels and even a small bobcat.
This park is so heavily treed and very well shaded that you feel like you are solo camping! Thanks to being located on a power plant lake Fairfield Lake State Park has great fishing! Stocked with Red Drum, Bass, catfish and even Blue Tilapia there is a fish for everyone!
Fairfield Lake State Park is one of my favorite Texas State Parks! You will not regret spending any amount of time visiting Fairfield Lake State Park.
