Hiking in the Malibu Mountains

Just thought I’d stop by to share this pic of my morning hike with you…
I’ve been exploring trails in the Malibu Mountains and actually can’t quite express how grateful I am to have this beauty so close to home!!
There’s seriously nothing like climbing to the top and breathing in the ocean/forest air… I find it’s the best reset to feed my soul and clear my mind!
What do you guys do to clear you mind? I’d love to hear!

I love to walk on mountains heights. They give me glimpses of vastness of the universe. From their when I see the world, I feel myself connected with the universe.

Looks nice. And it appears to be smoke free! Much nicer than here yesterday.
Being a November baby, water, must have water to sooth the savage soul. Anything from a small creek to a raging ocean is all it takes to cause my brain to switch off from life and slip in to wonder.
Oh yes water is so important!!
Hey Bonnie!! Are you barefoot??
Nooo... I haven't got the guts to try that on these trails... I came across a rattle snake yesterday too so that was a reminder to be careful! In the more open trails I still love a good barefoot hike!!
No way! Tell me you picked it up and took a face off photo with your Mene ring?
😂😂 that'd really be something!! No no I slinked away and waited for it to make it's way off the path and back into the forest... maybe next time!!
Love this! Basically anything that gets me out in nature helps to clear my mind. Going for a walk or hike in the forest, sitting on a rock by the ocean, paddling on a beautiful lake... I could keep going. :)
