Happy New Year - 2021!
Happy New Year, everybody!
We have just wrapped up year 2020 - a complicated, strange and difficult year. I wish you all the best in 2021 - let us hope at least some of the problems we are struggling with will stay in the year that has just receded into the past.
So I would like to wish everybody, and especially my readers, all the best in 2021. I also would like to offer my apologies. I guess being somewhat overwhelmed by the pandemic, the social discord and other events of 2020 I held off on reporting on them until I got a chance to collect just a little more data to be able to summarize it neatly - but that akin to trying to take a sip from a fire hose. It was only making me more overwhelmed.
That was a mistake. While some of my research is about to yield some fruit - and, hopefully, it will be worth the effort on my part and the wait on the part of my readers - I clearly underestimated the value of short reports. No, I don't believe myself to be ingenious or indispensable - but I am an independent thinker and I am one of the few voices thinking and speaking outside the proverbial matrix, and it was wrong of me to not write my own material. Though I had reposted massive loads of material that I think is of some value on my social media (links below).
So let this be not just a beginning of a new year but also the time of some much needed course correction. I know I could do better - it is about time I tried!
