Sigh

While I identify simply with being "human", I am of African and European decent. Growing up on the African side of my family I am familiar with the civil rights movement, slavery and what my great-great grandparents went through growing up in the deep south! With all that said I completely and utterly find this subject matter to be ridiculous. I have never really understood racism to begin with but now we are lashing out over flags ? Flags?!! Really??

The Confederate flag, as pointed out by the author has absolutely nothing to with slavery or racism. See this is what happens when you allow governments to control the education system and ultimately the narrative! History gets distorted and then eventually altered! This lady, sorry is a complete nutter. Furthermore if the shit doesn't bother the person its "meant" to bother then why on earth would you try and force an emotion on someone?

Ohh...and if I may be so bold, while some people out their cry about slavery need to remember that we are ALL slaves as I type these words!
