A Stroll through a park in Saudi Arabia (Original)

Once in a while we have to take time out of our busy work schedule and fill in our mind and soul with essence of nature. With this in mind me and my brother @amju decided to take a stroll through the park in Jubail, Corniche.

If you don't where Jubail is, it's a city in Saudi Arabia. Talking about about Saudi Arabia, What others think about this country is that there is not much fun and entertainment. But I can't agree with that. The pictures speaks for themselves. What you will get here is peace of mind and security. Those are two valuable things that's very essential. If you are coming with your family then security and peace of mind is the priority. You will get that here.

Jubail corniche is about 8 miles from our place. It was our first time so we decided to use Google map, as any would do these days. And the all knowing Google map took us to a dead end. The road that Google suggested was long closed; me and my brother ended up staring at a barbed wire fence. Without overreacting I kept mobile back in my pocket and decided to rely on instincts and sign boards instead.

And Voila, we reached Jubail Corniche. This place is crowded on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. On other days, this place is very calm and quite. It's was a Sunday so it's was like we had the whole park for ourselves. People come here for jogging and just to see the view and feel the breeze coming from the seashore. Did I mention that cornice is in the seashore. That's what makes it even more beautiful.

There are shops here from where you can take refreshments. A mosque is there for prayer. There is a basket ball court. And most importantly there is about 2 miles of walking pavement, which is a heaven for people who love jogging.

For peace loving people like me and my brother, there was bench made out stone in the park. When you sit there, what you see is the ocean and the tides. The view is simply beautiful and brings peace to our mind. I guess that is the best place to contemplate the meaning of life.
