Below is an email I sent to the CASH App Customer Service Representative. It covers a lot of bases.

Main Points:

  • Usury is Universally accepted as being "WRONG" but, for the most part, completely Legal; for some reason.
  • Do not engage me on a Customer Service Level; if you can avoid it.

ENJOY!

Ok redacted name,
I finally figured it out. I had to sign in on my phone using my EMAIL or else it always sent me to this "new" account; that I had no intention of creating at ANY time. It was an endless feedback loop using my phone number. One that had only the destination of creating this needless new account. Another flaw in your poorly designed, not at all user friendly, usury service. Usury, although considered a "sin" in the Big 3 religions on this planet, is legal; it is still morally abhorrent in every measurable way. For example when I want access to this money CASH App charges me a fee. Either upfront for instant transfer or in the form of earning interest upon my money while it is slowly transferred for "free". This type of unscrupulous profiteering is literally the reason the Federal Government has currency laws that prevent local principalities from abusing the citizenry in this manner. Sadly, CASH App has found this loophole of morality.
Additionally, I am highly resentful of you saying that you feel you understand my plight or circumstance in anyway. You don't know me. Although, as I try and enable this App on my phone you did harvest ALL of my data for some reason (SS#, Birthdate, etc.). So maybe you do... In fact I am certain this relationship is more than I would have wanted to consent to; if I had ANY other way to get this money I would most certainly NEVER have offered such information.
It is like my family, by sending money in this manner, has pushed me into a hotel room with a naked coked up Harvey Weinstein to have his way with me; in order to get the $200 Harvey has somewhere hidden upon his bloated grotesque naked form. That's CASH App, the sweaty overbearing rapist you have to go through to get the money.
I wish I believed there would be some divine retribution for sins like Rape and Usury but I don't; and there is not. It is up to individuals (not companies) to make their own moral stand for what is right. To lobby world leaders to prohibit via legislation such abhorrent practices in the light of the overwhelming societal damage that they demonstrably cause. Just like ole Harvey I hope blood sucking monsters like CASH App get their comeuppance.
I will message you if I have any further questions,
C
