Chelsey's Chronicles #19: 21st Season and Celebrating 16 Years of Friendship

@chels is BACK! Hi Steemians, I've missed you!

Hope everything has been going well, both on steemit and in real life :)

I thought I'd share what I've been up to in the past couple of weeks since I last made a post.

It is well into the 21st season and I've been going to a quite a few celebrations. It's always so good to catch up with friends, poke the bar tab and hear all the roasting in the speeches.

Girl Gang for 16 years

A couple of days ago I was invited to one of my primary school's 21st. It's crazy to think that we've known each other for 16 years now and are still in touch :D

In fact, my primary school girl gang consists of 5 friends. When we left primary school, we all ventured to 5 different high schools, but we still made time to see each other every school holidays. We finished high school and enrolled to different universities. Even now, we still make the effort to pencil at least 4 outings in the year to catch up and reconnect.

I'm so blessed to have friends like these who, against all odds, remain true friends who all want to keep in touch and see each other grow. I'll admit, we are not the closest of friends BUT, I consider them lifelong friends who will definitely be there for all the important moments of my life. It's so nice and heartwarming to see this girls every year and reminisce the good times we shared so many years ago when life was a lot simpler as a primary school kid!
