Why common people don't like science normally?

in #life5 years ago

Hello there. I'm Chemist Psycho. Today I'm going to talk about why common people don't like science. I love science and science-related topic. But not all people like me. In this world, maybe 95% of people are not interested in science. I was thought why people don't feel their interest in such a great thing? I found some reason. Let's talk about point by point.

Subconscious Mind

Normally we are interested in a simple, exciting thing like movie, drama series, sports, art, story, etc. In those points, we don't need to use our brain much. But science is different. Here, we have to use our brain. This is a big reason for people to feel less interest in science. Who the heck will be interesting on Evolution or Gravity when they have a topic like why Bran Stark sitting on the Iron Thron or how crucial Iron man was for Avengers!

Intention of being Accurate

Science has the intention of being accurate. A scientist wants to make their Theory or Law to be the highest level of accuracy. To make the highest level of accuracy they use the symbol which makes it more complicated to common people. People don't like F=ma or E=mc^2. They like

In an inertial frame of reference, an object either remains at rest or continues to move at a constant velocity, unless acted upon by a force. (First Law Motion) - Sir Issac Newton.

Education System

In a minor country like ours, the education system not helpful for science. We don't have a smart teacher who can explain the Principal of science easily and interestingly to the students. We don't have a laboratory in maximum school or collage where a student can learn the basic of a science experiment. That's why student easily got demotivated about science.

Religion

Religion is a large factor in a minor country like us for being anti-science. In the previous history of the world, many scientists sentenced to death for their new invention. Some theory of science like Evolution or Big Bang are against the faith of religion. Not actually, but misleading makes them anti-religious theory. That's why many people think believing in science is going against GOD.

That's for today. I hope you enjoyed this. If I make a mistake, please let me know that. Thank you.
