Weekend away in Ayia Napa Cyprus
Just when you thought it couldn't get any better.
My daughter arrived in Cyprus from South Africa on Thursday and then the news of Jack and Lesley's engagement followed - and as someone commented tying in with EOS going live - a week to remember.
We, (Lee, Eden, Marta and myself) set off for an overnight stay in Ayia Napa.
Went to a lovely beach called Nokkos - I had been there a few years ago but this time it was crowded and the atmosphere was great. Eden made us some steak rolls and afterwards we had coffee in the restaurant - of course I had cheesecake !!
That evening we met Kia at a Greek tavern and afterwards landed up at a Karaoke pub where Kia and Eden sang for us. Can you believe first time I have been to Karaoke with my kids.
The next day we chilled at the hotel pool and then went for lunch in Protaras. Very nice food. Afterward Kia took us to a beach I had never seen before called Malami Beach where they have a new modern restaurant on the rocks and a live DJ. Was a great relaxing time.
