Given the world we leave in today, our days are somewhat always preoccupied with things we have to do, and things we just do to comfort ourselves from the stress from doing what we actually have to do.. and at the end, we we end up putting off what we really want to do. Take your time to think about it, for just a second: our days are always filled with stuff we have to do and also comforting stuff. but with very little time for things we love to do. When would we find the time to do what we really love? When would things ease off, Maybe when we’re dead, then there would be more time. Truth is there would never be enough time or even more time. Nothing is going to change, it's not gonna get calmer or even less busy. There will always be projects to work on , trips chores to carry out, visitors who'd swing by holidays, illness and even death. That's how we have been stuck in for the last few months, the last few years and that’s exactly how life gonna keep on going.

The challenge here isn’t waiting for something to change; it’s actually making the time irrespective of what’s going on. But what do you really want to do is what you'd have to decide as well as what you've been putting off. Think about it, what is it that you love?

  • Some of my ideas:
  • Loving

  • Reading

  • Meditating, doing yoga, journaling, reflecting

  • Hiking, biking, running, climbing, rowing, traipsing about

  • Going for a beautiful walk

  • Creating, making, building, crafting, blogging, vlogging, logging, hogging

  • Making others’ lives better

  • Communing with nature

  • Communing with loved ones

  • Communing with yourself

  • Creating or growing a business, a venture, an organization, a community

  • Working on a skill

*etc...

Well, So not that you have been able to identify something which you love doing, but you haven't been doing; rather you've been putting off until the time is right … could you just do it today? What would open up in you if you knew for a certainty that you were going to do this thing you love today? Even if it's for only for an hour?!
You need to carve out the time to do it now! You could put it out on your calendar, pen down a love note and send tonyourself just so you do not forget, a reminder would come in handy; you could also tell people you are going to do it and then make it happen. Make it something you can’t do, because it’s so crucial to your life.

Engage it every day for the next few weeks or a month, and just look out for what changes; I challenge you to do it.
