1. Drink Water

The simplest, but often overlooked.
Drinking water in the mornings to get your body started kickstarts your metabolism and refreshes you after hours of fasting on water. It flushes out your toxins and hydrates you to start on a day.
Consider a simple daily investment in your health against negative ailments.
2. Tidy Your Bed
According to US Naval Admiral William McRaven, “If you make your bed every morning you will have accomplished the first task of the day.
It will give you a small sense of pride and it will encourage you to do another task and another and another.
By the end of the day, that one task completed will have turned into many tasks completed. Making your bed will also reinforce the fact that little things in life matter.”
The habit of making your bed is related with a sense of greater self and higher productivity.
Start your day right with one thing and every thing else will naturally fall into place.
3. Move Your Body
If you want to be among the healthy, happy and productive people in the world, get in the habit of regular exercise.
Stretching or exercising helps to wake those sleepy muscles up and get the blood flowing, signalling your body to get ready for the day.
Personally, physical activity in the morning has also generated a flow of creative inspiration and clarity for me.
Exercise has been related to decreases in depression, anxiety and stress.

There’s no better way to lift your spirits up than hearing your favourite morning tunes. It is about getting the good vibes and the good feelings in your head right off the bat.
Music is related to reducing stress and anxiety and mood elevation.

5. Take a Cold Shower
This might sound like a terrible idea. However, our body’s shock response increases our oxygen intake and heart rate, releasing a blood rush through our entire body.
Having taken cold showers have always felt very cleansing to me, and given me a rush of energy and inspiration that I am grateful for.
6. Have a Hearty Breakfast
Sounding a bit cliche, but it is a hard fact that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. The reason is literally in its name, break fast. As our body fasted for the past 6-8 hours, it needs fuel to function.
Thus, having a good and healthy breakfast when waking up is key to keeping us rejuvenated for a brand new day.
Everyone likes someone who is well-fed and filled with energy to get on with the day.
7. Write a Short Note
A popular routine amongst famous authors, the subconscious mind works during your sleep and writing it down in the morning would encourage your mind to stay creative. It is also known to help calm and keep you more at peace with yourself.
This exercise is meant to write down persisting thoughts and open our minds up to new and exciting possibilities ahead.
8. Review Your Life Vision
Write down your goals, long term and short term. Take a few minutes everyday to read your life vision will put your day into perspective.
Doing this exercise daily will make you thing about your life goals daily and spend your days working towards them.
Eventually, these goals will, without a doubt, manifest.

The world’s greatest successes are known to be prolific readers. One shared habit between all of them is that they are constantly learning.
Making your commute time useful every morning is to read books or listen to audiobooks.
Over time, you will have read hundreds of books and your knowledge would have expanded tenfold. Your perspective of the world would be more well-informed too.
