This is how Melbourne CBD looks like after 5 people were killed and docens injured
Having a mornign walk aroudn the CBD this morming brough back sad memories and feeling of surrow from January this year, a feeling of sadness and surrow since the 26-year-old, Dimitrious Gargasoulas went off a rampage killing five people and injuring dozens of pedestrians in Melbourne's CBD.
The local council thinks that those massive concrete blocks will stop a potential related incident.
They are however failling to address the big grey "elefant in the room"; the justice bail system.
Hola mayra!!!! triste historia
si verdad!
That is sad. But I still don't get it why those massive blocks will help.
well you see the pedestrian walking areas in the CBD are very large and flat this is how this guy managed to get his car from the road into incoming pedestrians for several meters up this street. He was basically driving in the pavement. These blocks are just there as a barrier- an ugly barrier!
Oh it makes sense to me now. It's just getting in the way.
