Got fired today..not too sad about it tho :)
My fellow Steemers,
Today I got fired from my job. I work... let me rephrase that.... I worked in the oil and gas industry. If you don't know the price of oil hasn't been doing well the last couple years. In 2014 the price was over 100 USD/BBL then it tumbled and it still hasn't recovered. These last couple of years at work haven't been so great. The managers fired a lot of people in my company and left the rest of us to compensate for them. Being overworked and at the same time in fear that you'll face the axe next does not make for a positive work environment...
Anyway, today I was fired. Funny enough, instead of feeling sad or angry I felt relief! I'm going to spend some time figuring out what to do next in my life, dedicate more time to steemit and maybe look at different career opportunities for me.

hahaha yes it is. Ironically my previous job in O&G was to gather and process data...rock and fluid data though :P
