Lucid dreaming part 4, Interview with a new age spiritualist

I am at the school's library. This is where I meet Martin, a student at my school. He is a new-age spiritualist. He is barefoot and with long semi-dreadlocks. I ask him if I can interview him about dreaming, and while he becomes a bit startled, he seems happy to answer my questions.

"You see, a normal dream is when our conscious brain turns off, and you experience death. Your spirit is wandering into a different dimension. If you reach lucidity you are able to explore the entire timeline of the universe. You can look at different events from the past and the future"

He has personally had very few experiences with lucid dreaming but finds the concept intriguing. However, he says that his experience is that you always feel completely rested after a lucid dream. 

He also has some experiences with prophetic dreaming. Everyone is able to learn it to some degree. He explains this by how you can visit different parts of the timeline while you dream.

This was my short interview with a new age spiritualist. I am personally skeptical towards many of the claims, but I just wanted to give all of you a chance to see how dreaming is interpreted from different perspectives.
