The Unexpected Pros of Bulking Up
I had a bit of a late night last night as my mum had food poisoning so had to get various medicines for her at 3 in the morning. I was then woken up by the cleaner who I was told wasn't coming because she was on holiday. She was not. I was very desperate for a lie in, but it was nice to see her by the time I had woken up a bit.
As I'm interested in videography, I've asked about working at a wedding and making a wedding video for a woman I've been talking to recently. I'm still not sure if I'm going to be able to do it, but I've asked a friend of mine who does lots of photography if he would be able to help me out as he has a lot more equipment than I do and it would be handy having another person filming so I'm not constantly running back and fourth while they're saying their vows to get all the angles.
After, I got ready to meet my friend at the gym. I always a good workout helps every situation in your life for some reason. Plus I love the muscle ache - it's annoying, but it just feels like some sort of achievement the day after, like yes I really did do well with those glute-targeting exercises. I also bumped into a girl who used to go to my school, who I haven't seen for years and we had a nice, albeit brief, chat while I was on the leg press.
After all that burning of calories my friend and I drove to the supermarket so I could get pasta and cookies, but what's life without balance? We sang Africa by Toto in the car, which, by the way, is a song I'm really loving at the moment. I've got to say I've really missed her company as she's been back and fourth to Spain the past few weeks, so I was very happy to see her again.
I definitely over ate to the point where I had to have a nap before actually going to sleep. My sleep cycle will almost definitely be messed up now, but that's just an excuse to watch Riverdale at 1am while I attempt to get tired again.
