There are no guarantees in life.
Fear of the unknown is perhaps the greatest sustenance of anxiety. Whether it's your health, your relationships, your children or your work, there are no guarantees in life other than being ready for the unexpected to present itself at any time.
Fear of the unknown is the same as fear of the future. When we do not directly face our fear we obtain anxiety in our lives as a result.
Not only anxiety is a waste of your precious time and energy; It also affects the chemistry of your brain so it can end up producing an overproduction of cortisol. High cortisol levels increase the chances of cancer, heart disease, diabetes and other immune disorders. It is definitely not a recipe for happiness.
My advice: Regardless of whether you are a church attendant, a nature lover, a meditator, a swimmer, a runner, a cook or a cyclist. Get involved in activities that keep you focused on the present and keep your mind free from the noise of stress
