I had never had an encounter with @surpassinggoogle but I wish that I had the opportunity to listen in on that show. He sounds like an amazing person by the way that you describe him.

His selfless attitude is what truly makes this platform the amazing thing that it is. When I created my photography contest, I wanted to have a way to reward everyone that was participating and then make it an equal playing field for photographers of all levels. I am excited for Wednesday when the first competition comes to a close so that I can send out the SBD rewards to accounts all over the world because I know for some people it is more than just a small amount. Over my two and a half months here on the platform participating in fundraisers for various charity projects, I know how far the SBD value can go in the impoverished communities. That is something that we in America take for granted, and I am hoping to be able to do everything I can to help those all over the world.

As I was reading your words about Terry's beginnings on Steemit I could tell that he was really in it for the people from the beginning. I just hope that as I grow on the platform that I can make a fraction of the mark that he is making here.
