I'll add another one: Move to a different country. It's not available for some who are tied down to an office, but if you're young and single, moving to another country is a great way to travel, lower your cost, and move out of your comfort zone.
That's extreme, but I don't disagree that it is an option for some. Some countries have a relatively low cost of living and you can live a very different lifestyle...unlike the Westernized way of the rat race.
