Discouraging Times
My work here in Steemit can be discouraging. This week I am expecting to earn $42. This calculates out to be under $1 per hour. Hopefully your pay rate is higher than mine. I earned at this rate in 1969 working after school growing carnations. 
I am happy working for this low of a rate for several reasons!
I am earning crypto currency rather than fiat dollars. I work from home. There is no expense required. Everything I earn is pure profit. I have no manager making demands on me: I am free to produce as I wish.
Personally, I have physical handicaps which prohibit me from performing traditional work. Working in the Steemit system is perfect for my situation.
The current Steem price is low. This low price is the underlying cause of the low rewards. I hope it will pass. But if low prices persist, I will continue.

Oh, sorry for your physical problems but every person have different problems in their life but real fighters are those who accept it and still live life enthusiastically and in my opinion you are doing that, and i am 25 year old and i was working with an IT company but left my job to take care of my family and now doing the work from home and it's better than doing work under someone who never care for your situations and yes Steemit is really amazing but it have tough face too because i am having an roller-coaster journey till now but i will still continue. Posting more is the only way out !! Really you're such an inspiration Mr. @doctorjohn , despite of the difficulties , you're moving ahead with confidence . I'm getting even lower rewards , but I get lot of satisfaction because the currency I'm earning is crypto . Soon the prices may reach top and we may have good times .
SBD and STEEM value may get even worse but we won't stop posting :)
Steemit offers total freedom and which other social platform cannot. I like the fact you still appreciate the low earnings, a lot of persons has stopped blogging cos of the low price of Steem.
