Falls in Post Falls, Idaho!

in #life6 years ago

Damn, look at this dam!

The sun has finally been showing its face here in Northern Idaho, so today my wife and I decided to show my parents why Post Falls is called...well, Post Falls. We took them over to Falls Park and went for a walk to the dam where the water was roaring. Last time @alovelymess and I went we were walking on ice to go back to it and we were the only ones there besides one other couple. Today was a different story...There was so many people they were parked on the side of the road outside the park. This is the fullest I have ever seen the park, not the mention the fullest I have seen the falls. They were gushing with water, it was crazy! I hear this is the best time to go see them, and now I can certainly see why. I also hear there is falls over in Spokane that we have not been to yet, so we will need to venture over there soon. Enjoy!

Love the third photo with the bridge. All are nice but the composition of that pic is nice.

Thanks! I would have liked to get a better angle, but there was a tree in the way everywhere I stood, haha.

You should drive up to Snow Creek Falls this week. It's killer.

We were talking about it last week, we may do that. Also want to drive through the National Wildlife Refuge. Have you been there?

Kootenai Reserve? Yeah - There's a nice waterfall there, too. Pretty sweet.

Aww I love Idaho... such a beautiful state! I live over on the west side of WA State, and so we have some similar scenery. 😊

Me too! Oh cool, my wife and I was in Seattle in February! We only saw the city view, i'd love to go back and see Mt. Rainier.

Awesome! My parents are visiting for a week. We may have to take them there!

Sounds fun!
