TO LOOK AT ONESELF

in #life6 years ago

To look at oneself is an important technique of meditation. When looking at oneself, the practitioner can control his breathing and eliminate the thoughts. Buddha taught that a practitioner must focus on himself, sense his entire body, especially see inside the body.
At this point, we have two different ways to go. A school of meditation exploits the feeling of calmness and pleasure to consider as an achievement (the first school). Another school of meditation exploits the sensation of oneself to become aware that nothing is Ego-self (second school).
The first school will achieve the result of meditation. The second school will achieve the result of sainthood.
The first school practitioners tends to live separately from everyone.
The second school practitioners tend to live a useful life for all beings.
The first school practitioners often think that they are the best in the path to enlightenment.
The second school practitioners always think that they are not good enough to achieve enlightenment quickly.
