A Pleasing Personality
I've found that by greeting people with a smile, remembering their name, and focusing on what's important to them has been a key to getting people to like me.
This has been essential when trying to sell myself or an object/idea.
Being interested is an extremely important part of being interesting.
This falls under what I call “read, relate, relax”. If you read someone correctly you then are able to relate with them, which allows them to relax with you and listen to what you have to say.
