It is important for us to set our goals in life. In as much as it is important to set goals we must also learn to protect our set goals. This is because our goal is just like a little plant, planted in a garden and it is necessary for us to nurture it, protect it,give it life and also preserve it. If not we may end up planning very well, strategising very well and not ultimately see what we are planning come to fusion.

Now,

HOW DO YOU PROTECT YOUR VISION?

FREE YOURSELF FROM UNDUE INFLUENCE OF PEOPLE

People are not necessarily bad, it is just that they don’t understand the rhythm of your heart. If only you can se what is going on in your head you will come to appreciate what you are doing, how you are doing it, and why you are doing it. But so long as they don’t have access to your mind they only see the result of what you are doing. This is why you must free yourself from their undue influences. This influences might be from your friends, parents, loved ones and people you meet on a daily basis. Avoiding their influence on your goals will protect your goals and keep it until when it comes to fulfillment.

BECOME ZEALOUS AND JEALOUS OF YOUR GOALS

You have to be zealous and jealous of your goals(be dogged) because your goal is your life. You change your goal you change your life.so you must be zealous and protect it with all that you have. You don’t just say you want to be the best footballer of all time for instance and someone says you cannot do it and suddenly you start believing that this person is right. No! don’t believe anyone’s opinion of you. Because they didn’t create so they cannot tell who you are. Be zealous and protect your goals so you can see it come to lamplight.

NEVER ALLOW OTHERS SET GOALS FOR YOU

trust yourself and what God says concerning you. This is not because those people are bad but because they cannot see through your heart and cannot understand the rhythm of your heart. Therefore they cannot appreciate what you do. This is the more reason you need to trust yourself more than anyone else trust you self. Trust that there is divinity in you, trust that even if you cannot see everything there today, that it is still right there in you and someday, somehow, it will show itself. Remember to always trust yourself.

GUIDE AGAINST TIME MISMANAGEMENT

For you to achieve your set out goal, you must be a very good time manager. That is use your time wisely because there will always be people willing to waste or steal your time. So you must guide against it. You will not see a man with goals watching TV with beer in his hands for 8hrs. use your time wisely don’t waste your time on frivolities.

DECIDE BEFORE HAND THAT YOU WILL SEE YOUR GOALS COME TO PASS

What this means is you must persevere, be dogged, let nothing be able to stop you. People who become great are not people who gave up at the slightest form of defeat, there are also not those with plan B. they are people who have plan A and if it doesn’t work they look for a way to make it work. They either get it or die trying to get it. and so great leaders this is how much we can take on today’s section and please always remember what you don’t know is what is limiting you, what you know and don’t apply is also what is limiting you and what you ultimately know and apply is what is called wisdom. And always remember that you are born a leader but you must become a leader through a process.
