RE: Does the idea of currency-driven forums make people less sincere in their communications?

in #life8 years ago (edited)

@steemlocomotive we can't really tell - cause we can't read people's thoughts nor their hearts and exercising self control is also possible (I find that more respectable too) plus Steemit traffic is quite international - culture must be an influence plus many people have become virtual friends it could also really be "authentic kindness " and finesse.

I don't have to read anyone's heart when I can read their posts. Plenty of other forums are quite international, but it isn't hard to tell the difference.

@steemlocomotive - I don't know - all I know is I'm enjoying it here so far, whether the comments are fake or not - I remember something @thecryptofiend wrote on one of his articles, I didn't bother to look for cause probably burried but it has something to do with etiquette in posting and commenting here - etiquette - maybe that too is another factor plus no one likes an ass - there was a time there were harsh comments and too vulgar or too rude - it fends people off - can't really tell
