Every Two Minutes
Every two minutes a child is exploited in the sex industry.
Adults purchase children for sex at least 2.5 MILLION TIMES a year in the United States alone.
Let that sink in for a second. 2.5 million. 2.5 million acts that will never be erased, never be forgotten, never be reversed, and when the average age of these children are 13 years old, you can be sure that the damage sets in during critical mental development.
Foster homes, group homes and youth shelters have been prime territory for these monsters for quite some time now, and with social media being a staple in young peoples lives, recruiting has gotten considerably easier for these seasoned rings. The more trusted younger girls are being trained to be recruiters as well, with money and protection promised as our culture and society praises money more than ever now.
There is fallout from this that affects everyone. The "War on Sex Trafficking" is running the course much like the "War on Drugs", the 'War on Terrorism", and many other government "wars". It creates a perfect opportunity for furthering a police state and intruding into our homes and lives, all under the guise of protection with little result and benefit for the community it claims to protect.
What can we do?
I came across this statement in a sex trafficking article on ZeroHedge that sums this up perfectly;
Stop feeding the monster: Sex trafficking is part of a larger continuum in America that runs the gamut from homelessness, poverty, and self-esteem issues to sexualized television, the glorification of a pimp/ho culture—what is often referred to as the pornification of America—and a billion dollar sex industry built on the back of pornography, music, entertainment, etc.
This epidemic is largely one of our own making, especially in a corporate age where the value placed on human life takes a backseat to profit. It is estimated that the porn industry brings in more money than Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Apple, and Yahoo.
This has been the argument frommany of us for many years. Getting away from the fundamentals of living and family values has created monsters such as this. While those that benefit from these operations call the conservatives backwards, behind the times, bigots, all while parading these atrocities as "progress" and "21st century".
Another key takeaway from my research into this article is the prioritization of police and government resources. Instead of trying to incriminate and harass while spending incredible man-power and resources for victim-less crimes and pettiness, (such as arresting a man for collecting rainwater on his property, or evicting a man that has his own windmill power generator, or attempting to remove children and press charges to homeschooling parents) they can actually fight what they tell us they intend to with the tools that encroach our civil liberties.
Directly or indirectly, we are all guilty for this menace. Society as a whole has allowed such things to exist by creating the demand in the first place. If you are not actively fighting to protect the family unit, the ethics and fundamentals of human rights and liberties, or financially supporting the industries that benefit from this, you are among the guilty.

So, it is too, with the ban on prostitution. More prostitution, more violence.
The police are not there to protect people. They are there to write as many tickets as possible and arrest as many people as possible. (which means arresting pot smokers; they're easy.) 50% of murders aren't even investigated.
Further, the ones doing the most egregious crimes are those who are in charge. Satan worshipping, child raping and sacrifice are found in all localities. Kids that escaped have all said, they went to the police who said, they couldn't do anything (or caught them and took them back).
The first thing we need to do is legalize prostitution.
We have already destroyed marriage as an institution; and marriage was the reason why you want to limit prostitution. You want to have one avenue for young horny men, to marry the women, settle down and become a draft animal for the community.
Then prostitutes can be out in the open. Can be in well lit, well controlled buildings. Can get proper medical attention. Etc.
The other thing to do is legalize and popularize sex dolls. Providing an outlet for the sexual tension.

The goal is to 'normalize' this awful and deviant behavior. They've already trained us to give up our children for daycare and public indoctrination centers, if they can convince us it's acceptable for an adult to have an intimate relationship with a child, who knows what a parent or parents might allow for their own career or convenience, if we continue down this path. Once this sick practice is 'normalized' and 'acceptable' our society is ruined. @ironshield

If children can be expoited over 2.5million times a year then it is way worse than i thought.
I agree with you when you state that we are also responsible for this traffic and we can even take actions to minimize it

For years i have been a piano man and have see that I compete against flipping the table. If they can flip the table several times why have music. So too with this. I can see perfectly why sex could be flipped several times over. In the end it is all about money. Money means power. Sad but true. Thanks.
