ONE NOVEMBER EVENING
It was the winter of 2005. I was taking a stroll in my garden. It was almost evening. And my skin felt raw under the cold November sky. Lightly the wind blew and caressed my bare surfaces. The roses had bloomed and the garden smelled of love. Crowds of dandelions flirted with the light breeze. Squirrels squeaked and the Cuckoos cooed. The evening came and the day had departed. I walked and walked and walked and kept walking. On the way I stopped by the giant tree to see its silhouette against the dimming sky. It brought back memories of my childhood and when I played under it's gentle branches. Of days I never think and remember anymore. The past drifted away and it's gone forever. Leaving me with the sands of time to find comfort and discomfort. I caressed the thought and moved on in light steps. There were few lamps in the street and lights from the neighbors houses and here and there a few passing vehicles lighted the street. I thought of better things in life like falling in love and what it's like? To love and to be loved? My thoughts kept me company and I walked on and on into the depth of the night. In serenity.
