You Were Created to Live, to be Exposed to the Storms.

The sun finally peeked through the clouds yesterday after two weeks of rain. The grass and trees are rich and green, the flowers are bursting in color

And yet outside my window, the hanging plant is lifeless and brown.

It was hung there for decoration. Under the eaves it was protected from the rain - the rain I tried to avoid for 2 weeks, the same rain this plant desperately needed to live.

You were not created to be decoration in someone’s life. You were not created to be sheltered.

You were created to live, to be exposed to the storms.

Don’t hide from the storms in your life. They help you to thrive and grow.
