Drifting in the Void Where Time and Space are Meaningless

in #life6 years ago

Not too long ago, I watched The Avengers: Endgame where the central characters were coming to terms with a world which was wrecked by the almighty Thanos. Well, let's say I understand how they feel, lol. Today, we officially broke a major support channel for STEEM/BTC and are effectively floating in no man's land. Not fun whatsoever. Sure, I keep hearing about how great these levels are to buy into but we need those individuals to act upon their words and invest some. Yep, this looks like we might be down here for a while...

Times like these are when it's hardest to stay positive. I seriously can't believe how STEEM managed to get so low. Look at the incredible development and huge community. It simply screams positivity. But alas, the price sees things differently. For now, anyways. I remember similar periods in the past where the STEEM blockchain looked to be brought to it's knees, only to rise up higher than ever before. And the funny thing is it came out the blue. No big news, no announcements. I remember that initial pump from 10 cents to 25 cents back in March 2018. And a couple weeks after that, we were sitting nicely at $2.80. Literally from out of nowhere, STEEM came surging back again.

And at that time, there was just Steemit. The fact that you could actually create an eco-system of Dapps on here, was not even a consideration. And yet, here we stand today. Everything seems to be coming together nicely and the bits of our system that need adjusting, are being addressed right now. So some may say "Oh, just because it happened before, doesn't mean it will happen again". And yes, that is true. STEEM could drop into a constant death spiral, headed for oblivion. However, when you think about it, that doesn't add up. Mainly for the reasons I outlined above.

Fair enough, if we were a scammy "BitConnect" type project, hidden under a shroud of faceless developers, I get it. But not with the way things look now for us. I'm certain thees negative tides will shift as some point. I'm not sure when but it just makes sense, given the variables we know about. I reckon the crypto markets in general, should begin a proper run-up near to the end of the year, possibly even early into 2020. Well, within one year from now, anyways. Hang on until then and I'm pretty certain this picture will look much prettier than it does now.

Keep the faith, peepz! We've been here several times before... And I ain't abandoning this ship anytime soon!

However the steem price is our community is pumping positivity all over and our Devs are always making something new with DApps. Although are just low now, there is surely no going back now. Avengers has only one chance, Steem there is no stopping, it's all in our hands to promote. @ezzy👍👍

The best thing is for me, people who are still coming here in this community and people who are still alive here. They are not gonna go anywhere soon. And they are the hope.
We are on the same ship!

I'm onboard too. :)

The only consolation is that most alts are also being hit hard. Hopefully the lag after btc's surge will result in a pull through soon...
