AS AN INDIAN IN THE CITY

Hi, I'm Georibs, I'm 38 years old, married, with two children and I write to you from Cumana-Venezuela. I am a Mechanical Engineer but due to the socio-economic instability in my country, I do not practice my profession, but now I dedicate myself to being a housewife, which entails venturing into this great virtual world, so that one way or another I can contribute financially to my home and with it help to cope with this economic crisis that hits us.

I hope Steemit achieves that first goal, in addition to meeting people to help me develop in this area, because the truth at first I feel INDIAN IN THE CITY despite having so much information on the subject, but with so much Inquiry me saturo and at the end I do not catch anything, so I decided to live one day at a time, and it is my advice for those who for the first time explore this world of possibilities, without haste and without nerve as they say there; enjoying what we do because only then will it be delight for others.

I am happy that they have accepted me in Steemit and to be part of this great virtual family, because more than an alternative with which we can help ourselves financially, it contributes to enrich us intellectually with each writing that they post by this means and the best of all is that we can do it from the comfort of our home, without neglecting any other activity that we do, which in my case is to take care of my children.

As for the issues that I am going to post, I do not have any highlights, I plan to write a bit of everything, at the end of the case that is one of the advantages offered by Steemit; that we can write what we want and that between tastes and colors it is better to go groping. Finally no more to add, I hope you liked my biography, greetings.

Hello, Georibs, and Welcome to Steemit.

Last year, I too found myself unemployed (just like you). Fortunately, I soon found Steemit, and since September last year, I've been creating different series for posting on Steemit.

Hope you can find plenty to write about, too. ☺

Below are a few basic points of advice re posting on Steemit.
1 – Longer posts are more lucrative than short posts. If you make a post of 20–30 paragraphs, it's more likely to earn rewards.
2 – Include some photos, images or graphs, to complement the text.
3 – Make sure the text and photos are formatted properly, so that your post looks attractive and appealing.
4 – Be yourself.
5 – Be interesting and informative.
6 – Create quality content. Steemit is intended to be a platform of quality content. (You will see many insignificant posts with meager content and no quality. Most of those of posts [called “shitposts” by Steemit whale Stellabelle] will earn few rewards and soon pass into oblivion.)
7 – Get online and start curating. Read various posts, comment on those posts you find interesting, and upvote those posts. That’s the best way to attract followers.

Hope this helps for now. Good luck, and Full Steem Ahead!

Thank you very much for your advice, I know that you will be useful
