Celebrating our Four-year wedding Anniversary with a little hike in the nearby nature.
Yesterday was our wedding anniversary. We were so lucky that my mother-in-law could babysit and we would have the afternoon free to do whatever we wanted. We decided that we would spend it outside, and since we now have sun to about 11pm we had the whole evening ahead of us.
We took off to a lake that's about 15 minutes drive from our house.
Then we hiked upward a hill, and here you can see the same lake in the background.
Some sheep along the way.
We walked until we reached a flat swamp area at the top of the hill. Here with signs from The Norwegian Tracking association explaining all the different paths in the area.
There was also a little shelter, so we decided to have our coffee break there.
After sitting there for two minutes we were swarmed by midges. I suddenly had three in my coffee and one on my eye, so we ended up having our coffee break wandering around the swamp instead.
Sharp sun and midgets might be the reason my husbands eyes are almost closed.
What is more romantic than heart shaped chocolate?

All in all it was a great time-out for us, and a perfect way to celebrate four years of marriage.
Thanks for stopping by!
