IF YOU WANT TO RACE, GET A DAMN SPORTS CAR - THE CRUELTY OF GREYHOUND RACES
Meet my friend PAK, a beautiful, most gentile giant of a dog you could ever imagine.... SAVED.SURVIVED.
It is so difficult for me to accept the fact that dog races, greyhound races, still exist in today's world. It is the most pointless, cruel activity, designed to generate adrenaline and profit for the mindless human while the noble animals suffer.....and die...More than 400 greyhounds have died as a direct result of dog racing in Florida since 2013! The horrible conditions they are kept in, cages stacked on top of each other and the number of injuries greyhounds suffer due to racing is just mind boggling!!! WTF? Why? There is a thousand other gambling opportunities and thrilling races that don't include traumatized animals, discarded like a piece of waste, when they don't preform as wanted!! It makes absolutly no sense....!
Of course there is a certain gambling law and the biger picture in play, so it makes it acceptable..NO IT DOES NOT! Thankfully there are dedicated organizations saving greyhounds from these desperate circumstances, but it often prooves too little too late....It is difficult for an abused racing dog to trust a human again, to start living a life outside it's previous tight enclosure, to go for a simple walk not a race ...Fortunately, many greyhounds have overcome the trauma... So, thank you my friend, for surviving....
