Chichén Iztá, IT'S NOOOT A MAYAN PIRAMID, IT'S A SOLAR CALENDAR

It is believed that the Mayan "pyramids" are the same as those of Egypt but staggered. But in reality while the pyramids of Egypt were made as tombs for the pharaohs, the Mayan engineers built their majestic works as large solar calendars or as temples for the sacrifice and worship of their gods.
