Took Mini to the Canuk it Up festival

in #life7 years ago

Celebrating Canada's 150th Birthday with this festival in which the 61ft floating Rubber Duck (dont ask me how that has anything to do with Canada cuz I have NO idea) was FINALLY inflated after mother nature decided to produce high winds yesterday causing said duck to rip so it only was inflated this morning after repair. I took a few pics for those wondering what a 61ft rubber ducky looks like lol there was also what they call a "tall ship" which is just a huge sail boat, its beautiful tho and a huge inflated beaver (that is more Canadian than anything, besides hockey lol)

Even though we walked down in the rain, Mini was thrilled and we had a great time!
No country I'd rather call home! Proud to be Canadian!

I love Canada too. Heading up to Vancouver in a couple weeks.

Oh very nice! Im in southern Ontario :D Its not nearly as beautiful to look at because its mostly flat land and farmers fields but lots of history and we live in a historic town :D

Cool. I grew up in detroit. Right next to southern Ontario. Although you have to drive south to get to Canada from Detroit.

I grew up across from Detroit :D

if you check out my post I did a couple hours ago, the picture I took of the underside of the bridge and the bridge itself, is the Ambassador Bridge :D

Sweet. Been over that bridge and through the tunnel many times. Used to take my kids over to Sir Cedric's fish and chips when we visited family up that way.

hahha nice! I know exactly where that is
