[VIDEO] Experimental work - Quote of Virgil, a Roman Poet (870-19BC)

in #life5 years ago (edited)

Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito.

_~Virgil, Aeneid, 6, 95 _
A quote by Virgil, a Roman poet (70-19BC) with epic oneliners. This quote is about strength, tenacity. It means something like this: Do not give in to darkness, but fight even bolder against it.

The animation is about life throwing someone into a vicious circle or downwards spiral of continuous overburdening. How can one break through an everlasting loop of overburdening?

Back in 2016 I was working on this personal project (mainly to experiment with Cinema4D, it's own render engine and with V-ray), but ironically never managed to finish the production. Earlier this year (2019) Maurits Handlogten, audio designer, was also broadening his skills and approach to create music. So, eventually we combined our works and brought the project back to life.

Let me know what you think of it!
