STOP LOOKING -- You need to see this comment I received. I love it. You should love it too. OMG. Just watch!
After more than A YEAR on steemit, I just received the BEST COMMENT ever... You'll want to see what they said!
This is INCREDIBLE, and at the same time, it shows you what steem is capable of... Bringing great people together among other like minded people.
Before I begin, credit for the image goes to Deborah Corn for posting it May 3, 2016.
JUST READ WHAT THIS REPUTATION LEVEL (36) USER WROTE TO ME:
- He wrote this comment as a reply to this blog post after living through a hurricane!
It is very unlike me to be brief in a post or comments. (Those of you know me, know that about me).
This time I'm going to be brief on purpose. The guest of honor right now is @jakeworkingman
but your post just was like you wrote it to me
I did.. and anyone like you
You and I are similar. We don't regulate ourselves by how much money we could make. We find the ways to do the right thing in life. Money and opportunities are bonuses, and they do show up on their own.
Look at my next blog post.. not made yet (link will be here soon)
"HOW STUPID is @intelliguy to write blog posts that only new users with low steem power will like? FIND OUT WHY!"
I'd really like to thank you back @jakeworkingman I've met a lot of good people on steem, many I treasure. But hearing comments from a stranger, out of the blue like this, with the things you said, deserves a standing ovation from me, even if I am the only one doing it.
In the dark, good people will always find other good people.
You're no longer a stranger. Thanks for validating the effort I put forth, and I look forward to what else you write. Followed.
I got back to the hotel
From work tonight , ( FEMA lodging because of the damage to the house ) and I gave little Man a bath , put him to sleep 😴 Settled in, When I signed in to #steemit and I seen what @intelliguy had put together , it didn't seem real !!!!! I told my wife " Jess something crazy happened !!! I got a reply from someone on steemit with close to 1900 followers and he is also being very helpful in how to make my content better and more legible " , I told her that without people like this knowledge would never be passed on throughout time , everyone needs guidance and direction in one way or another , and by you hoisting me up and giving me the uplifting feeling of being heard and having a voice that people actually respect , based on morals and values that I live by every day .
Thanks for your amazing kindness I don't know how else to describe what I experienced except as a gift , I look forward the future on this awesome platform!!!!!
Gotta like that guys attitude
@jakeworkingman and new Steemians like him are the peeps we need to support as a community. It's the engagement and stickiness of new peeps that will push Steem over the tipping point. Way to go @intelliguy for highlighting the importance of this community and for introducing us to @jakeworkingman. I'm already following you but now I'm going to also make sure I follow him too.
Excellent, I hope people do follow @jakeworkingman -- he's a very decent person.
Yes. I enjoyed reading his last post. He's going to do fantastic here. :)
Yes, he's sharing the true him, with all of us.. and it bleeds through in his writings. I like it.
OMG, you have O+ blood ? (Just read that on your blog written 2 months ago)
Very special person you are... You should periodically remind people to give blood and talk about it.. O+ people are extreeeeeemly important. Glad you don't hoard it all. :)
2 months! That means I'm due for another round. In fact, I can give platelets too. I've never done that... From my understanding it takes an hour and a half, so instead of watching TV like everyone else,, I can be Steeming w eSteem. Thanks for the encouragement. 😁
Suggestion:
NEW:
...it may get people to stop, think, and realize you're the real deal.
Thanks for the feedback! I will certainly put some thought into it. You should have seen what I had before this! It was super boring. Lol
Now that is some serious comment love!
You're experienced around here. You know it. :) Comments like that don't happen often. :)
No, they certainly do not. Something like that takes a little time and has an emotional attachment. It means something.
People like him don't always exist, he explained his inner most heart, how it occurred to him. You are really a great motivator and mentor @intelliguy
It seems like a short and small comment you made. But I feel a lot better when someone else says that..
I do want to motivate people and be a good mentor... but I wasn't sure I was actually doing it
..until you said that..
Thank you for that. It is very encouraging and I'll keep working at it. :)
What is so cool is after getting this beautiful reply you shared it with the world and made the day for @jakeworkingman
I am so amazed at the caring and gratitude shared on this platform. There is an honesty to the interaction we have here. Thank you for sharing this moment I enjoyed the feelings of appreciation you both shared @intelliguy
Cheers #allowistic
I did... and glad you saw it.
That doesn't come easily actually... unless...
...sounds like a lot to do... but it's the sparkle in steem's eye. If we realize this is what we can have all the time... then we need to enjoy it and appreciate it when it happens (and make loud notice of it).
Otherwise, it will be nothing more than a "blip" on our radar screens, and easy come easy go...
I would love nothing more than seeing caring and gratitude become the norm here every single day (and not just once in awhile).
Thanks for your comment @allowisticartist it was very well received. :)
@intelliguy this is why I moved the Allowistic islands of abundance to the steemit Blockchain. I held bitcoin in my wallet for the better part of this year starting when my girlfriend @unityeagle bought me $50 of btc for my birthday in January of this year when it was at a price of $900 for a btc after that I started takin any spare money I earned from projects and converting it into btc this was cool compared to it sitting in my PayPal account that never increased in value instead it went down so I always spent it as fast as it came in. Now with bitcoin it started to bob up and down as the tide rose. Then I found steemit after talking about it for weeks my girlfriend @unityeagle signed up for an account and I did too. I instantly fell in love with the new freedom I have to interact with others and share my art. So I bought .027 btc worth of steem then .027 more and I noticed I could give a bigger vote and more money went to others. Oh this is so much better than watching the bobber goebup and down so I invested more. And then I saw the post about the smt and the light went off and I see the big picture and move the rest of my btc to steem and power it up. So now I have 1237 sp this is a huge milestone this is the first time I ever felt comfortable storing value in any account. This steem power allows me to give to those I care about and that inspire me. So I decided to only sell my art for steem and all related smt backed by steem. I have a show planned with some of my motorsports fine art and the prices will be in steem and the fiat price is 10x the current steem price. This way if they want my art that retains its value and is backed by my creativity and passion, then I will only accept a currency that is backed by creativity and passion. Your fear and debt money is worthless to me hence the 10x price difference. This way I can back my art with like for like.here is a link to my story part one

#allowistic art for your voting pleasure
Creativity flows in the waves of now.
Welcome to the Allowistic islands
Thank you @intelliguy for sharing this important issue. Good comments are very inspiring and for me, they are the cherry on the cake (so to speak). By good comments, I don't mean just positive comments, from positively formulated critical comments you can learn and that's also fantastic.
I totally agree with @jakeworkingman and with you, writing and getting replies, reading and writing comments, meeting people, that's fantastic and the rest are bonuses. You gave a good example of how important honest writing is, when you do, somebody (in this case you) will pick it up and resteem it, or write about it. That way people like @jakeworkingman, will get more followers (I will be among them), and so on, and so on. Together we will make Steemit grow and flourish.
Once I reclaim my SP back from donating it to @voiceshares, this comment vote for you would have been worth 0.30 cents and growing.
So don't let the tiny comment upvote sway you (which I don't think it will).. you have your head right and I appreciate that a lot. A lot more than upvote money can show. I thank you very much.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch is tried and true. 😂
Yeah, I live for comments. You got a great one!
Wow, that was truly an amazing comment. Good stuff @intelliguy and @jakeworkingman.
Now that was a comment....👍
Sure was... thanks for reading and acknowledging it. :)
