A DOSE FOR EVERYONE
Most people need permission to take a risk; leaders can't afford to do that. Without a challenge, many people tend to fall or fade away- the road that leads to success is paved with lot of risk and tolerance.
A Billionaire once said, " desperation is what gave me an edge over the rich kids..."
they're certain things that leaders value; leaders 'pray'. prayer in this context is just my acronym for a list of four indispensable tools in a leader's toolbox.
- PLANNING.
Planning is the foundation for every worthwhile accomplishment. Henry David Thoreau remarks, " build your castle in the air,for that's where they should be, now put foundation under them".
Another tool in a leader's toolbox is the ability to possess;
- REAL VISION,
Leaders visualize themselves into the bigger picture, they create their own future.
That's why a great artist like Michelangelo prayed, " Lord, grant that I may always desire more than I can accomplish." A visionary compass answers that prayer.
Only those who can see the invisible, can do the impossible. Vision births direction and confidence, two things a leader cannot do without.
Another tool is the ability to:
- Analyze(screen or vet) information.
Leaders scrutinize the authenticity, as well as the feasibility of every information at their disposal.
Information is like a living organism, it has a lifespan, the richest people are those who analyze information faster and more accurately than others.
The last tool in a leader's toolbox is;
- Yield(ability to produce result).
What makes someone an 'executive' is his ability to execute or produce ingenious result.
Leaders are executive, they paint the bigger picture, then deploy their resources to actualize them.
Someone said, " Ideas are like babies crying in the Church, they need to be carried out".
