That fine balance pointsteemCreated with Sketch.

What do i mean when i say "that fine balance point"?

From my own experience in life, there always seems to be an equilibrium to everything.

For example of my life is my girlfriend. We have dated for almost a year and a half now and i have learned many things that always point back to trying to live a balanced life. In a relationship it is easy to get consumed with one another and eventually obsessed because you feel that you love the person so much. This leads to many things like neglecting you friends, family, studies and most of all can push your partner away because you become "needy". This is a common thing that happens between relationships that partner A is always giving more than partner B and feels they should be appreciated more. Then the partner B feels they are being pushed too much, that too much is being demanded. That is why it is important for both partners to try to find that balance point that works for both of them. Partner A can possibly not push partner B as much to appreciate them or meet their demands, and partner B can do more for partner A to meet her needs. It is always a balance between 2 forces when trying to achieve something.

In another example, when i was in pharmacy school i had to study a lot to even pass the course to continue to be in the program. It is easy to make the conclusion that if i want to get straight A's in all of my classes that i need to just focus on studying and nothing else. This however would be incorrect because if your focus is on just studying your brain will eventually not absorb the material as efficiently as it could and you will burn out. You will not want to study anymore and you will feel defeated. You need to study an adequate amount then relax the remaining amount of time to let your brain recover. This could include sleep, socializing, playing sports or anything else that you enjoy which makes you happy. In this example it is a seesaw between studying and relaxing. In either extreme you can fail out of school. If you study too much all the time, you could possibly just feel depressed and not see the light at the end of the tunnel and drop out. On the other extreme you can just simply not study and relax too much and you won't know the knowledge at all and drop out.
This second example is first hand experience. Many of my classmates just felt burnt out from school and considered dropping out and some did drop out.

This concept can be applied to anything. Too much of anything can be bad, therefore a balanced life is always a good thing to strive for.

What do you guys think?
