Every year, every season, we come across choices to step up and be our best. By making resolutions for the new year we are telling ourselves, "this time is going to be different." But, how often do we actually make meaningful and measurable changes?

Change is a challenge. It takes a certain mindset and self-accountability to make lasting change. So, while the accountability is up to you, I'd like to offer a perspective in the way you can 'think' in order to get up and go for your goals.

Life isn't about taking it easy, doing the same old same old, or getting comfortable. Every day is new and full of possibility. Make every day an opportunity to express yourself fully, live courageously, and risk living the life of your dreams!

What is it that inspires you? What gets your blood moving and your heart singing? Are you doing that every day? The condition of our life depends on our choice to give ourselves love. Whether you live in a tent or a seaside castle, you are creating your health and happiness based on the love you choose to give.

Choosing Self-love is the beginning of possibility. When you love yourself, you do things that feel good, challenge you to be your best, and support your mental/emotional/physical well-being. Then, as you are feeling the love, you can step out of survival mode and into possibility. Getting out of survival mode means we stop worrying about our health, wealth and happiness, and we start creating it.

In this moment you have choice. Actually, every moment of every day holds the possibility for your choices to support your potential. So, it's time to let go of that automatic response when someone asks, "what's new?" and you reply, "not much." It's time to step into the possibility that everything is new. Every moment is an opportunity to make new choices, set new goals, tell new stories, and live your life boldly. You might answer differently next time your asked, you might say, "I am new, starting right now. Thank you for reminding me I have choice, because I was about to complain about the problems I'm having because of the choices I've been making up to this point. But, I'm not going to, I'm just going to change them." Now that's the kind of conversation that inspires me. That's the kind of conversation that changes lives.

What are you going to do with all your opportunities today? What possibilities are you going create with your choices? Remember, if you don't like the life you are living because of the choices you made to get there, you can always make a new choice! Anything is possible, especially when you believe it is.

Make your New Year's resolutions a reality by living a lifestyle of self-love. No lasting change ever happened because we thought it should. We need to "feel" it... an elevated emotion, plus a dream/goal, and then taking action is what I can attest to. It was confirmed after a few dreams came true and I started practicing this more regularly by studying Joe Dispenza's work.
