Story Meeting
Today I had a story meeting with Seth to show him the pencil work for me and Eric's story about healthcare and disability for the upcoming issue of WW3. I'd spoken to him last night about our piece in an agitated fit over a completely unrelated art-crisis. So despite a lack of sleep and a blown out bulb in the kitchen (cuz when one thing happens, everything else does.)
I brought these pages to a nearby coffee shop. Eric joined us and pretty soon discussion of the story content and my photo research for drawings of anthropomorphized hepatitis-c viruses were enough to make a meticulously permed yuppie girl sitting across from us squeamishly get up and change seats. These things are small victories to me. As are waking up to encouraging personal messages from one of my artistic influences.
I'll post drawing of anthropomorphized virus when it is inked in.
