Before continuing with my essay, I would like to share this meaningful thought, I have found on Google:

Let's carry on with my story. As soon as I got my degree as English Teacher, I came back home, as I said before I studied in another city which is one hour and a half away from Puerto la Cruz, my hometown. I settled in my home again with my two sisters, my mom and with a lot of expectations in my heart, I did not know how to start over new. Well, I decided to look for a job where English Teachers were being sought. There was an awkward situation when I read the morning paper advertisements, specifically the job section, I underlined 6 ads which had drawn my attention, I decided to call on The English Institutes in order to have the appointment and apply for one of them, I did not feel confident enough to chat in English on the phone if it were necessary though. I dialed the first one and the person on the other side the phone told me I would Interview by this mean, if I understood everything by phone the Job would be mine, I talked to my insides " Why Not, You have nothing to lose" I agreed with him and told him to start with the conversation in English. At the right moment when he expressed the first question, I had come to realize that my English language proficiency was not good enough, I could not respond fluently and hung up immediately. In short, I screwed the interview up, that person suggested that I should improve my English Proficiency in advance, I felt embarrassed, disappointed that I could not make it, I did not practice hard enough at the University, even though I achieved good grades It was not enough. That day I cried a lot, I felt unsuccessful with no experience in the teaching field. Nonetheless, I bethought myself what my mom once said to us, if you fell down on the floor, you had to get back up,my extremely positive beloved mother always has a warm smile, a cup of hot coffee, delicious shredded fish empanadas ( this is a very famous Venezuelan dish) something special to say, I do not listen to at all, because of my being stubborn, rebellious and young man. Then, I thought to myself this was not going to stop me, I really wanted to get a job as soon as possible, I felt like having a new life, to help my mom out in the house, she had taken over everything since my father crashed his car against the road fence and died instantaneously, she had not dated anybody until She met a polite and kind man who used to be my close next door neighbor's friend, they are not anymore though. At the following weeks, I carried on searching for teacher offers at the morning local papers, when at last I read an interesting advertisement which said that English Teachers were being called for a well-known high school High School named Los Proceres, I called there to have the interview, I did not recall who I spoke with, the only thing that came to mind was that I would be scheduled for the following morning at 7:00 am. Oh my god, I could not fall asleep the whole night, I imagined what to say in order to succeed in my encounter with the main authority of the School. The next day, I awoke in the middle of night, It was 3:30 am, I stayed laid on my bed till dawn, as soon as the delicious smell of coffee got into my nose, I stood up and went to the kitchen where I met my mom serving me a big mug of cup of hot coffee, after that, I harried, took a shower, got dressed and went to my job interview. My first job interview, I could not believe it, my knees were shaking and my throat got dried, I sat waiting for my turn, there were other applicants ahead of me. Well my opportunity to try myself what I was there had just arrived, they called my name and led to the principal's office, I sat in front of her staring directly into her eyes, there was something in her gaze which made me feel confident when she started questioning I made it, thanks god some questions were between Spanish and English, and I made a great performance in the conversation with the School Principal and the job was mine. It was in that moment when my Life as English Teacher had just begun. In summary, The most important thing I really mean in this part of my background is that even if you failed once, twice or many times in any aspect or aim of your dream that you really want to achieve, do not give up, Things do not turn out the way you planned, or the way you think they should. Moreover, I have also learned that there are things which might go wrong, but most of all I have learned that you can get through tougher times and keep looking for better ones, as long as you have people who love you most. Thank god for the most wonderful mother given. ![13413528_1218102248213691_6044974402263614667_n.jpg]()
